CROSSFIRE
Dirty Games
Recorded and mixed in 2006 but sounds as written and composed in the heat of 1987's sunset strip's scene Crossfire's debut "Dirty Games" will take you back in time to how rock & roll supposed to be as written by hairspray on the wall..
Watch out as those guys never gave up a dream and worked their asses since 2001, even before the musical scene embraced back all the 80's hero reunions (Motley, Europe, Ratt, Cinderella, Twisted Sister etc..).
Mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios Los Angeles (Marty Friedman, Racer-X, Jason Becker, Mr Bungle etc) "Dirty Games" will take you to a 45 min ride in the backseat of your dreams, where everything is Sexier, Funnier, Dirtier and to us: Familiar.
Based musical influences from bands as Dokken, Slaughter, old Def Leppard, Firehouse, and Early Guns & Roses Crossfire made a highly impressive Debut.
The band appeared at the Israeli "Pre -Eurovision" in 2001 playing a special song with international Eurovision's winner Izhar Cohen, the act was filmed and spreader by national TV.
But Crossfire never wanted to be remembered as the "Band from the Eurovision", they already had a steady line up of fans and the debut album was almost ready, it was time for them to Rock It !!!
As working on the highest level possible was always the idea, Crossfire started to gig all around Israel, building themselves a large amount of followers all over the country and marked themselves as the hottest rock & roll show on town, and when Crossfire hits the stage รข€ what happens at the show, stayed at the show...J)
After finishing the recording the band co operated with famous George Horn to master the album in his well established "Fantasy Studio" in California (Racer-X, Marty Friedman, Vinnie Moore, Tony Macalpine, Mr Bungle & others).
Listen to the magnificent opener "Heartbreaker" as a great representation of the band's high skills, each one of the band members masters his instrument and once you'll get captured in Gilad Pasternak's solos you'll get the vibe of George Lynch meets John Norum, as Asaf Einav's voice is somewhere between Mike Tramp (White Lion) to Blackie Lawless (WASP) on the heavier tracks as "Rock It" and "Feel The Heat Tonight".
Ballads as "Running Away" and "All I Need" will bring you back to the glory days of the 80's where bands as Ratt, Poison, WASP, Motley Crue and Quiet Riot ruled the charts and "Never Give It Up" is the band's moto anthem, as being dedicated to the Rock & Roll Terminal Disease.
Provoking lyrics, sexual concepts and glorious arrangements will bring CROSSFIRE to Rock.
And for those about to rock - we salute you..
